The Manager, Integrated Analytics, Cardiovascular is responsible for generating, integrating and translating insights and analytics into growth opportunities that shape decisions and drive organizational action for the XARELTO brand within for the JJIM Cardiovascular Business Unit.

This position will partner closely with brand or franchise leadership and cross functional partners and serves as an internal consultant to the Sales & Marketing team. This position plays a leading role in advising and counseling management in the development and evaluation of new and existing business strategies and tactics and as a result, shares accountability for business results.

  • Lead development and implementation of analytics & reporting plan. Determine optimal analytical approaches through appropriate data sources.

  • Foster strong business partnerships to develop meaningful project goals and outcomes. Provide strategic guidance to business plans, sales & brand strategies, life cycle management and gross-to-net (GTN) assumptions.

  • Conduct objective analyses that uncover findings and insights across multiple data sets, to enable organizational decision making and action.

  • Serve as focal point for integrating insights and analytics across the Strategic Insights and Analytics team (forecasting, marketing research, business intelligence, and integrated analytics) for XARELTO and translating into business impact.

  • Ensure seamless integration of analytics from both national and subnational levels across key data sources – prescription, patient, payer/managed care, call activity - to evaluate marketing and sales tactics.

  • Identify and develop key metrics to measure and monitor performance through dashboards.

  • Serve as a champion for the implementation of Commercial Innovation capabilities to drive impact, inclusive of Advanced Analytics, Commercial Deployment Optimization, Field Reporting, and Incentive Compensation Strategy & Design.

  • Elevate and enhance brand access performance reports to establish baseline payer understanding at all levels of the organization to ensure market access is at the forefront of brand strategy

  • Develop local-level payer and provider pull through opportunities to maximize access and capitalize on competitive differentiation

I made some minor modifications here to incorporate elements of managed markets analytics. Some other specifics to consider whether or not you’d want to include are below.

  • Develop local-level payer and provider pull through opportunities to maximize access and capitalize on competitive differentiation

  • Lead conversations with brand and finance leadership to inform business planning and GTN alignment/assumptions using syndicated data trends and custom analysis

Qualifications

BA/BS required; advanced degree desirable

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience required

  • Business/market experience and industry knowledge to influence franchise/brand level decisions and strategies are required

  • Market research, business intelligence, marketing, sales, finance, business analytics, strategic planning, or consulting preferred.

  • Expertise with all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required

  • Experience with Tableau or comparable reporting/analytics tool required

  • Experience in pharma data sources (including Rx, claims, MMIT and sales sources) is strongly preferred

  • Proficiency in SQL, Dataiku is strongly preferred

  • Experience in querying claims data is preferred

  • Proficiency in market access dynamics (e.g payers, IDNs, specialty pharmacy, distribution) is strongly preferred

  • Proficiency in understanding of pharmaceutical financial dynamics is strongly preferred (Ex: GTN, Pricing Strategy)

  • Cardiovascular / anticoagulant market experience is preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations

  • Ability to work collaboratively with marketing team as well as other cross-functional partners

  • Strong project management skills

  • High degree of intellectual curiosity

This position is based in Titusville, NJ and requires up to 10% domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 99,000 to 170,200.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
