Located in Titchfield, Hampshire, Eaton's Aerospace business stands as a global leader in aerospace fuel systems. We pride ourselves as a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. The Titchfield facility boasts extensive fuel and air system test facilities, facilitating comprehensive testing across a range of conditions with various fuel types.

We’re Seeking a Senior Plant Finance Analyst: This pivotal role involves managing Business Partnering activities across the site and collaborating with the new Controllership structure to spearhead a successful Finance Transformation.

What you’ll do:

• Financial Analysis and Performance Reporting: prepare regular financial reports and performance updates for the operations team and management, highlighting key financial metrics and variances to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with plant functional teams to develop action plans, strategies and initiatives needed to achieve the expected targets.

• Process Improvement: Collaborate with operations teams to identify inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities that can lead to improved results.

• Risk Management: Identify financial risks within the operations and support mitigation strategies.

• Support the Controllership structure in driving financial transformation.

• Supporting initiatives (including CAPEX- and WORKING CAPITAL) and influence changes: evaluate proposals for productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality, and supply chain management.

• Utilize Power BI for Business Partnering updates, aligning business operations with financial objectives.

• Lead the Business Partnering team and support FLDP and Intern positions.

• Coordinate with the Controllership Team for forecasting and reporting.

• Drive the Profit Planning process alongside the Site Finance Manager and relevant teams.

• Inventory Management: Support inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash. Lead the annual stocktake with SCM.

• Maintain the Division and Aerospace reporting calendar to meet all deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified or a Passed Finalist in a major accounting organization (CIMA, ACCA, etc.), or part-qualified with extensive experience and a proven track record in Business Partnering.

  • Minimum of 5 years in accounting/financial roles, preferably within a manufacturing setting.

  • Familiarity with Lean Systems in finance is beneficial.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and US GAAP.

  • Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders to ensure that financial insights are understood and acted upon by the operations team.

  • A deep understanding of Manufacturing Operations and Processes.

  • Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills.

  • Highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starter

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Information Systems (Encore, DFT, Oracle Financials, Excel, and PowerPoint).
