Northrop Grumman Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics in Tindal, Australia

Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.

Your Role:

As we prepare for the arrival of the Triton UAS, we are proactively recruiting to ensure a seamless and coordinated entry into service. One of our key roles identified is the role of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics based out of RAAF Base Tindal, NT .

We're now looking for a Cert IV Aviation Trade/Aero skills ( Avionics ) qualified AME to join our newly formed Maintenance team. Working as part of a team to deliver multiple serviceable UAS at once - on time and within budget, you will identify manpower, tools and facilities requirements, present solutions to resolve manpower; technical and logistics challenges, and report and follow-up major defects and publication.

To succeed, you will need to have a passion for the Triton program and a willingness to learn from an experienced team around you.

MQ-4C Type Training will be provided which includes travel to the Palmdale, California for up to 10 weeks.

Relocation assistance will be provided for members and their families wishing to relocate to the Katherine region.
