In a nutshell:                            

Deployment Engineer proficient in infrastructure administration, deployment and configuration management in Azure Cloud environment.

Responsibilities:                             

• Windows administration and patching

• Usage of cloud infrastructure using Terraform/Octopus to be able to deploy packaged Operating System, packages middleware solution (ESB), packaged database engines and packaged databases;

• Be able to understand our deployment and to perform checks to guarantee the delivery;

• Cooperate closely with Project Managers to know priorities;

• Cooperate closely with the rest of IT Infrastructure & Operations, Architecture and Security teams;

• Forward bottleneck issue or process issue to contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills required:                       

• Computer science degree (engineering school, computer science school).

• Having administration knowledge in Windows and Linux based operating system.

• Strong experience in Operation, if possible, with Kubernetes.

• Having administration knowledge in Kubernetes based platforms.

• Experience in deployments and configuration management using Ansible.

• Experience with MSSQL/ PostgreSQL databases.

Preferred Candidates:

• Proven experience of acting in infrastructure/operations/project teams;

• The successful candidate will have a self-motivated, get-it-done attitude; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines, details and quality.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team spread across Europe, India and North America.

• BE Computer Science/MCA or any other equivalent degree

• International work experience

• 3 -6 years’ experience
