Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Tax & Royalty Analyst based in the Woodlands, Texas.
This position will be responsible for:
- Partner with revenue and production accountants and management to identify opportunities to utilize PRA to replace manual processes and enhance existing system processes to better meet the needs of the organization.
- Assist management in prioritizing projects for the Process Control team
- Document and clearly communicate enhancement requests to IT and SAP
- Assist with testing and documentation as required for notes, enhancements, upgrades or implementations.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal PRA users and IT resources, external industry user groups, and our SAP business partners.
- Communicate with IT, SAP, and Management on the status of projects and escalate requests on behalf of the Process Control team as needed
- Participate in sub-committee meetings for PROFOG
- Prepare status updates for Management
- Develop and maintain training documentation related to the accounting systems
- Lead or participate in PRA system enhancement projects, upgrade projects, and implementations
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related degree
- 7 years or more of relevant accounting systems experience is required, experience with SAP’s PRA module strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Professional oral and written communication style and being comfortable with public speaking
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
