Description: The IT Asset Management Specialist I is responsible for monitoring and execution of asset management processes and procedures to ensure a compliant and optimized IT hardware and software environment. The IT Asset Management Specialist I will work with IT business units to maintain a sustainable IT asset management program across the bank’s organization. Responsibilities include managing IT assets throughout the lifecycle including tracking, reporting, fixed asset allocation, media destruction and process improvements. This role drives standardization of asset management best practices and collaborates with internal IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to bring new assets into the bank.

Key Responsibilities: · Help execute the day-to-day IT Asset Management (ITAM) process/policy. · Accountability/governance over the bank’s Asset Management processes for all hardware and software. · Maintain the life-cycle management of IT assets using the Bank provided tools, ServiceNow for hardware and software assets/licensing. · Assist in enhancement/maintenance of policies, standards, processes, systems and measurements that enable the organization to manage the IT Asset Portfolio with respect to risk, cost, control, IT Governance, compliance and business performance objectives as established by the business. · Assist with coordinating/communicating process-procedural activities across change resources, other ITIL processes, IT delivery areas and the general asset management community; Includes responsibility for process documentation, as appropriate.

Competencies Required: · Ability to build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment with the ability to influence individuals at all levels of the organization. · Ability to think strategically as well as operationally/tactically. · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. · Ability to explain complex procedures and processes. · Action oriented, with the ability to identify, articulate, and implement opportunities. · Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities with competing demands for resources. · Strong communication and presentation (written and verbal) skills necessary to communicate and persuade a wide range of audiences. · Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic and multicultural business environment. · In-depth knowledge of IT end-to-end delivery life cycle including understanding of project management, application development and operational procedures.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: · 2 years of IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools Experience. · 4 years of IT experience or equivalent amount of directly related education.

Formal Education & Certification: · Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT or other directly related discipline preferred. · Certified IT Asset Management Professional preferred.

Work Status: · Full-time.

Supervisory Responsibility: · None.

Travel: · 0 - 25% - Some travel may be required.

Working Conditions: · Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
