Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented AR/Cash Applications Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in cash application processing who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys problem-solving within accounts receivable functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply daily cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner based on customer remittance details.

• Identify and document payment discrepancies to assist in resolving invoice variances.

• Support the Collections team by conducting payment research for past-due accounts.

• Ensure all cash receipts are posted by the month-end closing deadline.

• Perform account reconciliations and generate reports related to AR activity.

• Assist with additional projects and tasks as assigned by the AR Manager.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma required.

• Experience: Prior experience in cash application processing within an accounts receivable environment.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); SAP experience is a plus.

• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to accurately apply and reconcile payments.

• Independence & Collaboration: Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.

• Time Management: Skilled at handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new processes as the company continues to grow.

• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication.
