Job Title: Security Officer Armed Courier- Secure Transit Specialist

Location: Westchester and 5 boroughs in New York City

Join our team as a Security Officer Armed Courier, where you will play a pivotal role in the secure transportation of assets across multiple locations in Westchester and New York City. Shifts Available:

• Part-time: 25 hrs per week (approx), Working hours are between Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Job Description:

As a Courier Security Officer, you will be responsible for conducting secure courier services, including the pickup and drop-off of valuable assets such as money and sensitive documents. Your role will require meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to safety and security protocols. You will move between our various locations in Westchester and New York City (5 boroughs), ensuring the safe transit of materials in accordance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct secure pickups and drops of valuable assets, adhering to designated routes and schedules

• Maintain a vigilant and professional demeanor during all transit operations

• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and stakeholders

• Report any suspicious activities, incidents, or discrepancies promptly and accurately

• Adhere to strict security protocols and procedures to safeguard assets in transit

• Complete detailed logs and reports regarding transit activities and incidents

• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations

• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, providing necessary support and assistance

Requirements:

• NYC Handgun Carry Permit (required for conducting courier services)

• 3 years of prior security experience, preferably in logistics or courier services

• Valid New York State Armed Security Guard License

• CPR & First Aid certification

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

• Ability to commute and work in various locations across Westchester and New York City boroughs

• Flexible schedule, including availability for occasional overtime and weekends

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Professional demeanor and appearance

• Must be at least 21 years old (or as per state regulations)

• Authorized to legally work in the United States

• Successful completion of a drug test and comprehensive background check
