Establish, develop, and lead an internationally recognized and visionary research program in non-collider experimental particle physics that tackles the most pressing questions in neutrino physics, dark matter, dark energy, or similarly defined areas. Developing curricula and delivering course material. Participate in committee, departmental and faculty meetings.

Occasional Duties:

Candidates are expected to continue garnering extramural funding to support their research for which detector R&D is a significant component. Service to the department, college, and university is also expected.

Required Qualifications:

Ph.D. in physics or closely related field. Demonstrated record of effectiveness as a teacher, a record of peer reviewed publication and/or peer-reviewed creative activity which has contributed to the discipline or field of study, to the candidate’s intellectual and artistic development, and to the quality of the academic enterprise; a record of professional service appropriate to the discipline; promise of growth in teaching and research or artistic and creative activity
