Founded in 1925 as one of the university's four original colleges, the College of Arts & Sciences is comprised of 15 departments, offering a wide variety of courses and programs in the humanities, social and behavioral sciences, mathematics, physical sciences, and natural sciences. About the Department/School/Area:
The Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management offers a B.S. in Kinesiology and an M.S. in Kinesiology for over 1,400 undergraduate and 40 graduate students, respectively. The department enrolls over 400 undergraduate students in the B.S. in Sport Management and over 50 master’s degree students in the M.S. in Sport Management. It also offers a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology. Its building includes six classrooms, a student computer lab, and faculty offices.

Faculty Qualifications:
Applicants should have an earned doctorate in Public Health or a closely related field with an emphasis in Epidemiology or Biostatistics.
Applicants should have the ability to develop and teach undergraduate courses in health-related fields such as public health, environmental health, chronic disease prevention and control, biostatistics, or epidemiology.
Applicants should have specific area(s) of research and/or creative activity in biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health, chronic disease prevention and control, and/or health disparities.
