Temporary Full-Time Seasonal Position:110 Forestry Workers Tree planting/reforestation; Alpha Services, LLC 10/01/24-03/31/25 All applicants must be able, willing, qualified perform work described in job description & be available entire period specified. Duties may include: reforest, protect timber tracts, sow seed; lift seedlings from nursery beds, place shade materials beside seedlings, net/ tube (place small plastic tubes over seedlings); mulch, post-plant hand scalp (remove excess vegetation around seedlings); apply repellent or fertilizer to seedlings & other forestry related activities as per Forestry & Land Management General Forestry Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 45-4011 (onetonline.org). Perform physical activities: lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength-exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50lbs. Attn to detail; complete work tasks timely. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable physical strenuous labor long hrs, occasionally in extreme heat/cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hrs may fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime/ OT. Employer comply w/applicable Federal, State, local laws pertaining to OT hrs. Wage may vary. DOE Possible daily/wkly hrs: 7AM-3:30 PM. M-F 35-40 plus/hrs wkly, includes lunch break. No min. edu. No exp. reqd. OJT. Transport/subsistence reimbursed (by first paycheck) most reasonable transport available, cost from place which worker has come to work for employer, whether in U.S. or abroad, to place of employment. Once worker completed 50% of employment period,transport costs (most efficient carrier cost), & subsistence costs reimbursed to worker. Upon completion work contract or where worker dismissed early, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs return transport/ subsistence back home or to place worker originally departed to work, except where worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/ another employer. Amount of transport payment or reimbursement will be equal most economical/reasonable common carrier for distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at rate of \$15.88 per day during travel to max of \$59 per day w/ receipts. Offering worker employment for a total # of work hrs equal at least of the workdays of each 12-wk period, if period of employment covered by job order is 120 or more days, or each 6-wk. period, if period of employment covered by job order or is less than 120 days, in accordance w/ 20 CFR 655.20(f). Employer provided tools, supplies/equipment w/o charge/deposit. Misc. a single workweek as standard to compute wages due. Wage pd every 2-wks. (possible weekly). All deductions reqd. by law will be done by employer. The employers optional housing is provided at no cost to worker. Will reimburse H-2B worke first workweek paycheck for visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, to extent reqd. by law, including those fees mandated by U.S. govt. incurred by H-2B worker, not including passport or other fees not primarily for benefit of employer Carpool contributions are optional and not a condition of employment: Car pool contributions up to \$35 per wk. Company makes available company vehicle after hrs for reasonable personal use; contributions up to \$35 per wk to help cover costs of personal use will be deducted based on mileage.
