Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous and organized Collections Specialist in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. The individual will be part of our team, dealing with customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. This role is primarily centered around building relationships with customers, making phone calls to accounts, and handling incoming calls from customers.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Handle customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts diligently

• Undertake appropriate measures to collect delinquent payments

• Use accounting software systems effectively for various tasks

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Adhere to established collection processes and guidelines

• Perform the role of a collector when necessary

• Manage and resolve credit-related issues efficiently. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Comprehensive understanding of Collection Processes

• Previous experience as a Collector is required

• Knowledge and understanding of Credit procedures and guidelines

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of professionalism and integrity in dealing with sensitive financial information.
