Job Description

Phlebotomist will be back office working with about 15 patients/day

• Medium pace setting that is busy since they do everything from blood draws to full processing alone.

• Update chart as needed and do data entry

• Perform venipuncture procedures

• Blood draws and collect specimens

• Spin and centrifuge specimen

• Freeze or send out samples

• Verifying billing and insurance information

Qualifications

Must have:

• Phlebotomy schooling completed

• 1+ years of experience with phlebotomy and especially processing

• Fully comfortable with processing samples (spinning samples/centrifuge, refrigerating, etc)

Nice to have:

• Phlebotomy Certification

• Experience with computer systems
