  1. Works in close coordination with the Executive Director in supporting the business expansion and attraction efforts of Lead Economic Development Organizations (LEDOs) throughout Region 7 and with regional representatives from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

``` 2. Responsible for creating important workforce and labor market information/reports used for the strategic planning processes of the board, and for sector partnerships, employers, local elected officials, and/or LEDOs requests.

``` 3. Responsible for the oversight and coordination of regional personnel providing business services.

``` 4. Responsible for the customized screening and referral of qualified participants in training services to employers.

``` 5. Provides guidance to ensure the accurate implementation and delivery of federal, state, and local business services initiatives and related grants are taking place.

``` 6. Serves as the regional contact and coordinator of rapid response activities in partnership with state and federal authorities, along with affected business representatives, and as appropriate, labor representatives. This includes layoff aversion activities, as appropriate.

``` 7. Provides support for the sustainability and growth of regional sector partnerships, in coordination with the Executive Director,

``` 8. Ensures that all businesses services activities are being accurately reported to the state and board.

``` 9. Oversees customized recruitment events and related services for employers, including targeted job fairs and career events.

``` 10. Develops business marketing outreach plans and materials.

``` 11. Participates in, and supports business-related organizations throughout the region, such as Accelerate West Central Indiana Economic Development and the Disability Awareness Working Group (DAWG).

``` 12. Ensures that the Regional Operator is aware of the business services and activities occurring throughout the region.

``` 13. Performs other duties as assigned.

[Education and/or Experience: Graduate of a college or university with a degree in an appropriate discipline preferred. Business experience preferred. Knowledge of relevant federal and state rules and regulations, and WIOA policies and other state workforce development programs or the ability to quickly grasp such rules, regulations and programs desired.
