About you and this role

We have great opportunity for anEH&S Specialistto join our team inTerneuzen,The Netherlands.

As a EH&S specialist, you lead Implementation of the EH&S management system including work processes, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory and safety compliance, add value to meet site objectives, and maintain the license to operate. This role requires conceptual knowledge of theories, techniques and methodology within the analytical technology discipline. You will be part of the PU/IPG/Olympia EH&S organisation and work on the implementation of EH&S requirements for the newly to be build Olympia facility and support the existing PU/IPG assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide EH&S support to a facility on site.

• Permit(s) requirement analysis and compliance plans including documentation strategies and regulatory applicability assessments.

• Facilitate/participate in EH&S incident investigations.

• Interpret and apply environmental regulations and safety standards.

• Provide EH&S training development and delivery, EH&S auditing, EH&S management of change review, and delivery of EH&S programs.

• Implements EH&S management systems in order to add value to the business, meet business objectives and maintain the license to operate.

• Interface with regulatory authorities for inspections, inquiries, audits and permit negotiations.

• Implement new or updated EH&S programs.

• Provide EH&S expertise and input to the plants’ efforts for improving operating discipline and documentation. Serve as a reviewer for the plant MOC process.

• Provide updates to environmental permits for their plants and implementation of the requirements management work process.

Qualifications

• You have minimum a bachelor's or master’s degree in environmental science, chemical engineering or related

• Fluency in the Dutch language is required

Preferred skills

• Having relevant working experience within EH&S, Environmental, manufacturing or related fields is a plus.

• Having relevant experience in working with regulatory authorities
