Job Title: Cable Puller
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Cable Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pulling cables, assisting technicians, running and handling materials, utilizing hand and power tools, and climbing ladders.
Responsibilities
Pull cable and assist Tech 2 with various tasks.
Run and handle materials efficiently.
Utilize hand and power tools for installation and maintenance.
Climb ladders and work comfortably at heights.
Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles, and other devices.
Pull wire and/or oversee and direct conduit installations and wire pulling.
Operate tools/equipment that require the use of two hands (e.g., cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools).
Fiber pulling, testing, splicing (ribbon or single strand), dressing cable, and making connections (ISP Crew).
Handle copper-heavy tasks including cabling, terminations, and dressing (Network Crew).
Install network devices, RU's, optics, ethernet cable, fiber jumpers, and grounding wire.
Essential Skills
Strong ability to pull cable through pathways, terminate, and test copper cables (Cat 5, Cat 6).
Experience pulling fiber cables.
Proficiency in cable tray, ladder rack, and j-hook installation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other project documents.
Knowledge of universal communications color codes.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
0-4 years of experience in telecom/cable installation preferred.
OSHA / Lift Certification.
Comfortable with heights and working on ladders.
Proficiency with tools including cable cutters, hammer drills, and compression tools.

Work Environment
You will be working at a Meta Data Center in Temple, TX on a 3-year project with significant opportunities for growth. The work schedule is 5:00am – 4:00pm Monday through Friday and 5:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday.
