Position: Direct Hire/Full-time

Location: Tempe, AZ. Hybrid role 2 days onsite.

****This is a Sr. Level IT PM. Direct Hire role.

  • MUST have a strong background as a PM running software development projects/app dev projects.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree, PMP and CSM are ideal
  • MUST have Agile/Scrum experience!
  • Fast-paced, high visibility team. MUST have Azure DevOps exp.
  • W2 Only. No C2C/1099 will be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees project initiation tasks, including the creation of project management and communication plans, stakeholder identification, resource acquisition, and facilitation of project kick-off.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan solution releases, coordinate testing, and implement the final product.
  • Manages project risks, issues, and activities to ensure achievement of project objectives, including budget, timelines, scope, and quality. Proactively removes obstacles and assists in resolving problems or mitigating risks as necessary.
  • Participates in developing and maintaining the project budget throughout its lifecycle.
  • Actively contributes to the growth of project management practices across the organization through various learning and development initiatives, while also providing guidance to other project managers.
  • Ensures project progression aligns with plans through ongoing prioritization, cost, scope, change, and quality management.
  • Completes project closure activities by formalizing and communicating project acceptance, and transitions documentation and ongoing tasks to accountable teams.
  • Conducts retrospective project reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Enforces adherence to the company\'s standard project management and functional practices, procedures, and tools.
  • May assist in the discovery and selection of external staffing resources.
  • Assist in establishing vendor relationships, including product evaluation, selection, and the creation of Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Ensures project deliverables comply with regulatory and compliance objectives, and participates in audit processes as needed.
  • Identifies process gaps or areas for improvement within the project team and recommends or implements solutions.
  • Provides project status updates and KPI reports to IT leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor\'s degree or a combination of related education and work experience in the area of project management
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager or equivalent role in a software development/SaaS
  • Minimum of 2 years in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with project management tools such Azure DevOps or similar required
  • PMP or equivalent strongly preferred

Pay is \$130-140K/year plus bonus/benefits

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
