Amazon Outbound Marketing Specialist, Communications Programs, Selling Partner Trust in Tempe, Arizona

Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented, customer-obsessed specialist in outbound marketing to help create and deploy world wide cross-channel communications--especially via email, push, WhatsApp, and new or emerging channels. This person will ensure that content is appropriately personalized and delivered in the right cadence, frequency, and channels to drive engagement.

This person will sit within the Communications team, which develops and deploys communications to help selling partners proactively understand e-commerce-related policies and governmental regulations, so that they can take action and avoid negative consequences and business disruption. In turn, these policies and regulations help us create a trusted shopping experience and protect customers, brands, selling partners and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse.

Key job responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for executing and innovating on all processes related to onboarding communication templates and notifications. This includes:

  • Gathering inputs and requirements from partner stakeholder teams, including deep diving partner tech and data requirements

  • Planning and aligning on work to be done each sprint, ensuring work is 'sprint ready'

  • Updating or creating email html templates, with a view towards evolving requirements

  • Ideating and innovating on template formats and uses based on feedback from users and stakeholders

  • Managing stakeholder expectations through office hours, wikis, reporting, training, progress updates, and other mechanisms to be created or revised;

  • Updating training and documentation for internal use;

  • Overseeing template testing and launches;

  • Correcting html defects or errors

  • Innovating on processes, templates, and mechanisms to reduce SLAs

A day in the life

The nature of your day-to-day will evolve depending on where we are in the lifecycle of an initiative. You may spend your day focused on stakeholder management tasks (such as understanding requirements and needs, timelines, reporting); production-related tasks (such as setting up html templates to ensure proper customization based on data needs) or on strategy-related tasks (such as reviewing customer insights with partners, ideating around new experiments, gathering data to form hypotheses and designs, investigating new capabilities and opportunities to improve seller experience). Some days may also be focused on team building (sharing information, offsites, team meetings) or on career and personal development (trainings and mentoring).
