Join Amazon's dynamic environment as a Manager II of Supply Chain Management within the Global Logistics Operations Team. You will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing various facets of our operations, concentrating on optimizing and managing the flow of goods, information, or services within the supply chain network. You will take end-to-end ownership of operations, emphasizing logistics optimization, network design, and analysis of operational efficiency.

Key job responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and customer-centric culture.

  • Provide clear direction, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement and professional growth.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

  • Implement practices and continuous improvement methodologies to streamline supply chain operations.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations.

  • Analyze data and generate reports to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, providing insights and actionable plans to drive continuous improvement.

As a Manager II, Supply Chain at Amazon, your day will be filled with dynamic challenges and opportunities. Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 2+ years of supply chain experience

  • 3+ years of team management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Bachelor’s or an advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries
