Aston Carter Logistic Specialist in Tempe, Arizona

Amazon Job Description:

  • Communicate with customers (Carriers, Rail Road partners, Vendors/Suppliers) and stakeholders (Program Managers, Fulfillment Centers, Managed carrier programs)

  • Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

  • Understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results

  • Rectify disruptions, breaks in process, and follow standard work to make decisions that make sense based on available data

  • Provide real-time customer experience by working in a fast-paced operating environment

  • Systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams

  • Deliver follow-through on the resolutions to ensure the information is delivered

  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed

  • Communicate both verbally and in writing as data and findings are critical to tracking trends and performance inefficiencies

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience

  • Previous experience in the Logistics space

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Inventory Management Systems

  • Understands inventory control methodology

  • Demonstrated positive work attitude & leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to perform above minimum for extended periods of time

  • Commitment to a culture of safety

  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Work Environment:

  • 2 weeks of training fully onsite

  • After training, 2 days hybrid, 2 days in office

  • 40-hour workweek, Sunday – Wednesday OR Wednesday – Saturday, 6:30 am – 5 pm or 6 am – 4:30 pm
