This role is with KBR’s GAM (Global Asset Management) group. At GAM, we provide our customers with a range of services including Regulatory and Customer Compliance of Property Systems, Import/Export Trade Compliance, Material Management, Stockrooms/Tool Cribs/Receiving, Engineering Tool Design and Rework/Repairs, Records Management, Distribution Services, Capital Asset Management, Development & Production-Equipment Maintenance, and Facilities Project Management​.

Job Summary

As the Operations Manager, you will spearhead the execution of Material and Asset Property Management from start to finish, overseeing everything from acquisition to disposition. Your role involves managing a Material Stockroom and a versatile team responsible for government and customer-owned materials. Additionally, you will take charge of supporting Customer and DCMA audits, ensuring compliance with Material Management regulations, US Government Property Audit standards, and other customer-owned property procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience in ensuring compliance with FAR 52.245-1 Government Property standards across one or multiple sites, overseeing Aerospace US Government and Customer-owned property. This includes managing contracts that incorporate the FAR 52.245-1 clause and providing support for Government/DCMA and Customer On-Site & Limited Surveys.

  • Assume administrative and operational leadership for a government services project, adhering to program guidelines set forth by the Program Manager, customer, or contractual agreements.

  • Direct and manage a business segment within a substantial department or business unit, encompassing supervisory management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, reporting, and/or P&L responsibilities in alignment with established objectives.

  • Ensure the upkeep of Government-approved business systems, ensuring full compliance with Government, customer, and contractual regulations, along with relevant policies and procedures.

  • Supervise a Material Stockroom, a Military Bond room and a diverse team of property professionals tasked with handling Government/Customer-owned and commercial materials.

  • Define unit objectives, develop work plans and schedules, and ensure the availability of resources necessary for fulfilling established requirements and assignments.

  • Uphold site-specific Government Property Standards and Monthly Assessment Reporting, which encompasses meeting Financial Reporting Requirements specified in the contract.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience.

  • In lieu of formal education, High School Diploma or equivalent along with 12 years of related experience.

  • Four years of experience in managing teams or personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) from the National Property Management Association or willingness and the ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.

  • Experience with SAP.
