Actalent Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician in Tempe, Arizona
HIRING-REGISTERED PHARMACY TECHS
The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment is responsible for providing order processing support for fulfillment and/or provide assistance in the preparation and distribution of prescription medication via the use of the fulfillment system. Follows standard operating procedures and performs duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Develops and maintains proficiency in all medication dispensing areas and workstations
Prepares bulk medication for loading into automated dispensing system.
Performs manual packing duties including, but not limited to, packing and shipping, completing orders, verifying accuracy based on conformance to quality standards/specifications and preparing packages for mail.
Affixes labels to the appropriate containers.
Conducts cycle counts and put away.
Resolves order delay reporting as well as upgrade, expedite and cancels orders.
May also be responsible for stocking non-pharmaceutical products.
Other responsibilities as judgement or necessity dictate.

Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic level PC skills (for example: start up and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents and/or access information on line).
• Basic Search Engines skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online.
• Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, formatting documents).
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• 18 years of age or older.

Requirements:
Active Board of Pharmacy Technician License
High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
Basic knowledge of and skills using MS Windows, MS Office Suite and/or other similar operating/software programs
Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communication in a diplomatic and confidential manner
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (pounds) in a repetitive motion, with or without accommodations
Ability to stand during the entire shift (up to 10 hours)
Hours: 7a-530p M-F - overtime is available after 4 week training period on Saturdays. Flexibility on hours but the Candidate needs to be able to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7a-530p M-F.
