Job Overview

Position Schedule: Full-Time

Team Overview:

The Threat Vulnerability Management SIEM Engineer IV is part of the team that is responsible for providing 24/7 support of the firms SIEM and SIEM infrastructure. This includes multiple infrastructure utilities to manage log sources and destinations. The technologies supported will include cloud and on prem applications and the various management utilities within. The workload is spread down through the engineering team. Internal team distribution of work allows for flexible work hours as long as coverage is provided.

What You'll Do

  • Actively mentor and train other associates in their area of expertise;

  • Provide direction as to the effective use of technology within the enterprise architecture;

  • Provide leadership related to technical aspects of tools, methodologies, best practices and processes and standards that apply to their technical area of expertise.

  • Research technical improvements and takes the initiative to communicate/implement solutions.

  • Participates and represents area in cross-functional groups.

  • Communicates issues and problem resolutions with all affected stakeholders, business areas and vendors.

  • Researches requirements to determine system feasibility, costs, benefits, or functional requirements.

  • Ensure prudent use of the firm's financial resources.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $96471

Hiring Maximum: $164262

Skills/Requirements

What Experience You'll Need

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications or Engineering preferred or related work experience.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience directly related to technical area of expertise.

  • Considered a subject matter expert in an I.S. discipline (business solutions, systems development, infrastructure area, planning, security) and have experience across multiple platforms in an area or multiple technologies in a layer (network, computing, operating systems, data, application infrastructure, appliances, business solutions, security, systems management);

  • Ability to develop system designs within area of expertise.

  • Ability to perform analysis of system requirements to determine feasibility, costs, benefits.

  • Demonstrates the ability to provide strategic direction and technical leadership to align objectives with the overall Firm strategy

  • Able to create a strong team environment and build technical skills through training and mentoring of others.

  • Ability to influence Team Leaders, Project Leaders and/or associates in a matrix organization.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships across departments, business areas, and vendors.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and participate in multiple large and complex efforts or projects.

  • Knowledge of brokerage or financial company processes.

  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work.

  • Embraces change and considers different approaches to issues.

  • Takes personal responsibility to improve processes and systems.

  • Strong understanding of project management concepts.

  • Presents ideas, thoughts, arguments, and information persuasively. Seen ascredible and trustworthy.

  • The capacity to quickly understand a broad range of emerging technologies andthe ability to apply and exploit target technology to support firm objectives.

  • Knowledgeable in globalization (g11n), particularly with respect to technologydesign and deployment for a multi-national firm.

  • Experienced in system development methodologies and I.S. processes.

Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
