Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to fabricate precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer or similar role in a metal stamping or manufacturing environment

• Program CNC machines using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM) to optimize machining processes and ensure efficient production.

• Knowledge of metal properties and machining processes

• Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to verify part dimensions and tolerances.

• Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret technical drawings and resolve machining issues.

• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• standing for 4 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
