Description

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our Fortune 500 client with their reconciliation systems transformation efforts. This role offers flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity on-site in Greater Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, data validation, and transaction reconciliation processes, with advanced skills in Excel and Access. Proficiency in SQL is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and validate complex data sets related to transaction reconciliation processes.

• Support the transformation and enhancement of reconciliation systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide data-driven insights.

• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of data analysis procedures and results.

• Create and manage complex Excel spreadsheets and Access databases for data analysis and reporting.

• Utilize SQL for querying and manipulating data within large databases.

• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.

• Assist in the development and implementation of new reconciliation processes and systems.

• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress and findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and validation, particularly within transaction reconciliation processes.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Access.

• Experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working with Fortune 500 clients or in a large corporate environment is a plus.

• Experience with vendor payment data.

• Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.

• Familiarity with various reconciliation tools such as Blackline, Trintech, etc.
