Position Overview

We believe this is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and results driven junior salesperson to join Neuberger Berman. Building the Israeli team and becoming a major factor alongside the Head of Israel coverage, will excite the right person to join us on this journey.

We're looking for a talent person who can bring with them strong relationships from key strategic prospects from within Israel as well as groups of investment managers and other large wealth management businesses and advisors If you experience in the Israel domestic house which has been in the market for a few years and has first-hand experience explaining and selling products to intermediaries, Family Offices and qualified investors. Then we would love to speak to you.

This is a client facing role in which the primary purpose is to expend the number of prospective clients of the firm to drive flows into our range of investment strategies. In addition to driving new business, the position requires skilful ongoing client management and retention of existing relationships.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Proven track record in raising assets in Israel Intermediary, family offices and advisors market.

  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of the firm’s investment approach and philosophy as well as its specific investments to serve as a knowledgeable representative for existing and prospective clients

  • Grow and retain assets through winning new mandates, recommendations and securing additional mandates/recommendations from existing clients

  • Conduct market research on potential clients

  • Work closely with the marketing and client services teams to effectively communicate investment philosophies and processes to existing and prospective clients as well as coordinating client communications

  • Identify and cultivate prospects and client relationships, managing an individual pipeline from opportunity through to completion working towards an annual sales budget / target

  • Service existing client book and respond to all client needs diligently working with the client services team

  • Initiate outbound sales calls and organize client meetings. Prepare new business sales presentations and lead client meetings

  • Maintain awareness of competitive industry trends / markets to provide technical investment information to clients

Key Requirements

  • Rich understanding of the Israeli intermediary/advisory, family offices landscape and how its changing and backed with evidence of being able to adapt to changing buying patterns and trends.

  • Demonstrable Investment Management industry or Financial Services experience, preferably in Sales, Sales Support, Marketing or Client Services

  • 2-4 years’ industry experience

  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills

  • Strong numeracy, and familiarity with financial concepts

  • Fluent Hebrew and English – reading, writing and speaking

Qualifications:

  • University degree

  • Additional qualifications (or currently studying) IMC or CFA would be desirable but not essential
