Actalent Electrical Solutions Specialist in Tecumseh, Michigan
Description
Electrical Engineering Technician:
Provide the assigned regional customers quotes for ASCO products as well as develop solutions to solve their business issues.
Work directly with customers as well as the regional team to develop a solution for their business needs.
Collaborate with the electrical team to ensure the overall function and design for the customer is satisfied.
Oversee validation of systems generated to ensure that the upfit can be installed at the installation facility.
Identify OEM vehicle options that would affect ASCO electrical products.
Research and maintain understanding of new electrical architecture changes within fleet vehicles that affect ASCO electrical products.
Work with dealerships, installers, distributors, and customers regarding product issues.
Must present a professional and pleasant demeanor with customers.
Ensure documentation related to electrical team projects is filed at the appropriate time.
Become an ASCO commodity expert within the electrical department.
Work with the Customer Care Specialist to make technical decisions, recommendations, and corrective solutions for issues in the field.
TRAVEL: Possible travel for field service - troubleshooting and assisting with installer concerns. Will be paired up with Sales Engineers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic understand of the automotive industry and hands on experience with components and products
2 year Electrical Engineering degree

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
