Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Associate Scientist- Cell Engineering in Tarrytown, New York

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Senior Associate Scientist to join the Synthetic Biology & Cell Engineering team. You will contribute to the development of induced pluripotent stem cell-based disease models and potential cell therapies.

As a Senior Associate Scientist, a typical day might include:

  • Conducting in vitro cell culture based experiments, such as differentiation of iPSC to hepatocytes and hematopoietic stem cells.

  • Performing a variety of assays including, immunohistochemistry, qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, and Western blots

  • Managing in vivo mouse models and performing basic injections (intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, intravenous) and tissue dissections

  • Collaborating with other internal teams to coordinate cross-department experiments

  • Thorough and timely record keeping, data summarization, and presentation of results in formal and informal settings

In order to be considered for this role, you must have a BS/MS degree in a field related to biomedicine and 3+ years relevant lab experience. Must have experience with tissue/cell culture and cell-based assays (IHC, qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, Western blots, etc.). Experience working with mice is strongly preferred.

Salary Range (annually)
