The Windows Silicon & System Integration (WSSI) team seeks a skilled and passionate System-On-Chip (SOC) modelling expert to join us in Tampere, Finland.

At WSSI, we optimize silicon solutions for Microsoft Windows based products. As a SOC modelling expert, you'll collaborate with top industry talents, using your skills to develop innovative SOC models that improve Microsoft products and drive technological advancement and best User Experience.

What We’re Looking Principal Silicon Modeling Engineer For:

  • We are looking for someone with a significant coding background, closely associated with knowledge in hardware operation and design. The ideal candidate will exhibit effective programming abilities and an in-depth understanding of the SoC development process.

  • You should be well-versed in MCU/CPU operations and programming, showing confidence in managing complex hardware systems.

  • You possess a collaborative mindset and exceptional communication skills, ensuring seamless integration with our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • As a SoC modelling expert, you'll develop models for SoC designs that are at the forefront of technology.

  • Working with SoC architects, designers, verifiers, and software designers, you'll create both individual IP block and complete system models, using your expertise to improve the hardware design process.

  • You'll play a key role in the team by building multi-level SoC system and subsystem models essential for advancing the SoC design cycle.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Technical Engieering experience with expertise in at least two out of the following programming languages: C, C++, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in MCU/CPU and/or bare metal/RTOS development.

  • Knowledge of SystemC/TLM modeling for hardware systems.

  • Understanding fundamental principles of SoC design
