Jacobs Sr Traffic Engineer in Tampa, Florida

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Traffic Engineer to join our Tampa team. In this role, you will assist the team by performing various traffic planning assignments, participating in business development activities, and serving as project manager or task lead on planning projects and PD&E studies.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

• Prepare / Review Interchange Justification (IFR), Interchange Modification (IMR), or Interchange Operational Analysis (IOAR) Reports

• Prepare / Review safety improvement studies

• Prepare / Review traffic impact studies

• Prepare / Review Signal warrant studies

• Conduct Traffic Operation and Level of Service analysis

• Review conceptual designs and prepare corridor analysis reports

• Attend design review meetings and interact with clients and consultant partners

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

• Professional Engineer (PE) license

• Ability to provide in-house support to clients as needed

• Demonstrated substantial experience providing planning services on Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) and SIS Connectors

• Experience with the following software:

o Synchro

o HCS
