Pfizer Sr. Manager, GBS T&PM Metrics & Measurement in Tampa, Florida

ROLE SUMMARY

Pfizer's Global Business Services (GBS) Transformation and Project Management (T&PM) Office is responsible for driving simplification, innovation, and expertise across GBS and accelerate GBS strategy through an integrated and centralized metrics, innovation, and transformation model.

The Sr. Manager Metrics & Measurement position is responsible for stakeholder engagement and delivery for Reporting and Analytical solutions and Performance Management Metrics across GBS. The Sr. Manager will partner with GBS and Digital to lead the governance on deployed solutions. The role is responsible for introduction of new technologies in space of AI, Visualizations, and Automation in partnership with Digital organization.

Responsibilities include developing and supporting strategy on GBS performance management including Customer Experience measures with an agile framework. The role requires to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be proactive on new challenges and convert them into opportunities with creative solutions.

The Sr. Manager will be hands on and have abilities to lead a group of talented colleagues & contractors and partner with Digital Partner(s), and Business stakeholders to develop and sustain the GBS performance management strategy including customer experience metrics & measures.

The role will lead, manage, track and present on project and progress against critical milestones to management on a regular basis.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage team of colleagues responsible for complex reporting and analytical solutions & activities

  • Clearly and consistently establish priorities for team and manage workload, deliverables, and competing priorities.

  • Provide information colleagues need to perform tasks and make accurate decisions in a timely manner.

  • Consistently identify and remediate issues and risks prior to potential financial impacts.

  • Develop team and build colleagues by providing challenging tasks and assignments, holding frequent development discussions, remaining aware of each colleague's career goals, constructing and executing development plans.

  • Actively (formally and informally) mentor key colleagues outside of your direct report team

  • Engage directly with stakeholders and business partners on complex activities and deliverables and maintain effective, collaborative relationships.

  • Develop and manage project workplans including performing risk analysis, tracking progress, and manage internal / external resources.

  • Partner with Digital for introduction new & emerging technologies for team members and GBS, improving self-service and process efficiency automations.

  • Assisting colleagues to embrace change and synthesizing change management strategies with communications and training.

  • Drive and manage work-streams development and tracking of work-plans and schedules (including specialized resource requirements, key milestones, and project dependencies) to ensure projects are consistently delivered on time.

  • Translate business level requirements into effective solutions. Ensure requirements are gathered accurately and manage timelines for the scoping, development, and delivery of the final solution.

  • Build, validate, and update standards and documentation for accessing and interacting with Digital systems and data.

  • Ensure solutions are aligned with GFS and Digital strategy.

  • Maintain ownership of existing applications and systems ensuring consistent and reliable high performance and data integrity.

  • Work with Digital to maintain the GBS systems. This includes coordinating maintenance performed by Digital with the application owners and stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ Years of experience in related field of Reporting & Analytics with exposure to project management process/activities

  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing reporting & analytical solutions and process automations.

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, or related field; MBA and/or project management credential (i.e., PMP, 6 Sigma) preferred.

  • Proven ability to build coalitions and develop strong partnerships across functions.

  • In-depth knowledge of project management and development procedures

  • Capability to be a leader at all levels to own and understand the corporate vision, mission and culture and work to support the big picture through daily work activities.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience leading a team.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and comfortable influencing and motivating teams with no direct authority over them

  • Self-starter who continually strives to improve performance and business processes.

  • Ability to synthesize complex and voluminous information to provide accurate and meaningful project status to key senior stakeholders.

  • Proactive problem solver and resourceful in dealing with barriers or difficult situations.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; comfortable managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge/experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Program and Project Management; working in a matrix organization.

  • Experience in MS Power Apps, Power BI, desktop automations.

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to create and manage spreadsheets, tables, and presentations.

  • Knowledge in interactive visualizations and analytical solutions using Tableau and Excel.

  • Experience in development, building, and/or supporting GFS or other application-based solution or database system/data warehouse.

  • Knowledgeable about systems and technology including SAP ERP, Ariba, Workday, Service Now and edge systems experience.

  • Project based productivity applications such as MS Project

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $105,500.00 to $175,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
