Description
This role prepares and consolidates financial statements, analyzes and reconciles accounts, analyzes cash flow, creates budgets and forecasts, prepares audits, and manages internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting to attain company goals. Candidates need to bring strong analytical skills to the role and should be capable of handling challenging, fast-paced work environments. Your responsibilities
Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Requirements - Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
Microsoft Excel experience
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Skilled with ERP systems
Strong communication and social skills
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
Great attention to detail
