This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Who We Are

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Remote Data Analyst to support the C5ISR operations. We are seeking someone who resides in the contiguous United States (CONUS), but will be supporting customers and team members in Germany and Italy.

As a remote Data Analyst, you will develop, inspect, mine, transform, and model data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage. You will conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification. You will manage all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems and maintain analytical systems; verifying the accuracy of the data, while acting as liaison with business.

What You Will Do

  • Leverages data to support strategic analysis, technology assessment, partnership cultivation, and operational support.

  • Analyzes various data sets to evaluate strategies and technologies, informing strategic development and compliance with evolving Federal and DoD security standards.

  • Identifies trends and insights from emerging and disruptive technologies by attending relevant military and IT conferences.

  • Utilizes data to foster partnerships with government entities, industry, and academia, helping position USAFE as a leader in capability development.

  • Provides data-driven operational knowledge and recommendations, contributes to white papers and concept proposals, and facilitates the integration of new technologies into joint exercises.

  • Assists with the gathering and consolidation of data to support strategic analysis, technology assessment, partnership cultivation, and operational support.

  • Support the analysis of various data sets to evaluate strategies and technologies, informing strategic development and compliance with evolving Federal and DoD security standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

  • Prior experience supporting DoD or military customer and/or contracts

  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R.

  • Requires ability to dial internationally and have reliable internet speeds.

  • Must be analytical, possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

  • Works under only very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret level clearance.
