Personal Injury Legal Assistant/Paralegal Tampa, FL 33606 (On-site - 4 month contract) Hiring for a dependable and proven professional for a local, reputable Personal Injury Law Firm in downtown Tampa, FL. Do you have a minimum of 2 years within the personal injury legal space? Do you have experience preparing demand for insurance companies, opening cases as well as requesting of medical records? If so, today! Hiring Immediately! 4 month Contract!

salary: $25 - $28 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

education: Associate

Responsibilities

DUTIES:

• Opening cases, sending out letters of representation

• Requesting medical records, medical bills and liens.

• Sending out medical bill reductions and preparing closing statements (a plus)

• Taking calls from clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers

• Experience with preparation of reductions and Closing Statements a plus

• Preparation of demands to insurance companies a plus

• Sit in on some meetings with the attorney and client

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• Litigation-Personal Injury (1 year of experience is required)

• Personal injury (2 years of experience is required)

• Personal Injury Litigation

• Personal Injury Law (2 years of experience is required)

• Real Estate Litigation
