**[Job Description: [The Maintenance Mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs on floating equipment., lifting equipment, over-the-road equipment, and miscellaneous shipyard equipment. As a maintenance mechanic, you will be required to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.

[As a Maintenance Mechanic, you perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on shipyard equipment including tugs, barges, cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment, chain falls, pickup trucks, mobile cranes, automobiles, portable pumps, generators, cable reels, and power units, ventilator blowers, and lighting equipment. You comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. You also operate cranes, forklifts, air compressors, and trucks for repair purposes.
