JOB SUMMARY:

Remove existing interior installation on a wide range of Textron Aviation Aircraft.Accomplish interior refurbishment and/or modification activities on removed interiors.Re-install refurbished and/or modified interiors into Textron Aviation Aircraft typically in conjunction with maintenance activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work from aircraft orders, production inspection records, engineering orders and planning, to perform interior installations and adjustments of upholstery, furniture, and accessories per standard shop practices

  • Support layout requirements and investigates installation details for unique or first time interior installations

  • Complete varying levels of interior modifications on all types of Textron Aviation aircraft

  • With some supervision, accomplish the desired end modification objective utilizing the most efficient and economical methods possible as directed by supervision

  • Perform basic installation and refurbishment work. Assures installations and product inspection records, and parts tagging, are worked in accordance with Quality Control manual

  • Keep surrounding work area clean emphasizing cleanliness of the aircraft interior and protection of customer property at all times

  • Use of a variety of hand and power tools and basic measuring instruments

  • Responsible for quality of own work

  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.

  • Requires the use of blueprints, simple arithmetic, and simple measuring devices

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in interiors installation, refurbishment, or modification is preferred
