THE WORK:

  • You'll lead weekly Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings, documenting discussions, action items, and critical tasks along with conduct weekly job walks with architects to assess field conditions and resolve issues.

  • You'll develop and manage the critical path schedule, ensuring smooth project phases from procurement to closeout and provide weekly schedule updates and a two-week look-ahead to proactively address potential bottlenecks.

  • You'll oversee budgeting and estimating by conducting internal takeoffs, requesting subcontractor bids, and ensuring pricing accuracy using SBC’s cost analysis tools.

  • You'll review and process change orders by assessing scope, cost impact, feasibility, and scheduling implications while exploring cost-saving options and maintaining transparency.

  • You'll collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely project billings that align with construction progress.

  • You'll serve as the primary liaison between owners, General Contractor, and subcontractors, ensuring seamless communication and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

  • You'll develop and deliver accurate and timely project control reports, dashboards, and executive summaries tailored to the owner’s needs. Provide insights through trend analysis, predictive forecasting, and KPI monitoring to inform decision-making. Leverage analytics tools to provide actionable data that aligns with project goals.

  • You'll implement quality assurance processes, conducting inspections and audits to ensure construction adheres to client specifications, regulatory standards, and building codes. Address any deficiencies promptly to maintain high-quality standards.

  • You'll act as the primary liaison between the owner and Project Controls team to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations. Facilitate communication among architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to address project control issues proactively. Represent the owner in project meetings and ensure all decisions reflect their interests.

  • You'll identify opportunities to enhance project control processes and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. Conduct lessons-learned reviews and ensure recommendations are implemented in future projects. Identify KPIs with client input and report on metrics regularly.

  • You'll prepare and present regular progress reports, including updates on risks, project performance, and milestones. Assist with the integration of CSA components into the broader project lifecycle, ensuring the seamless coordination of contractor and stakeholder deliverables.

  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

$130,000 - $185,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. OR additional four (4) years of related experience engineering or a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in construction preferably in data centers. Internships or co-op experiences are advantageous

  • 2+ years of experience supporting CSA projects as a Project Manager

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Knowledge of project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Procore, e-Builder, Quickbase, Ecosys, etc.).

  • Experience in managing cost, schedule, and risk processes on large-scale projects, with an emphasis on owner representation.

  • Familiarity with Civil, Structural and Architectural scopes. Bonus if you have experience with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems and or commissioning.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.

  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills, with a track record of managing multiple stakeholders effectively.

  • Knowledge of industry standards such as AACE, PMI, or similar frameworks is preferred.
