Robert Half HR Coordinator in Tampa, Florida

Description

We are on the search for an HR Coordinator to join our team based in Tampa, Florida. This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite weekly. The primary function of this role is to ensure the delivery of HR services in various areas, with a focus on employee separations and leaves of absence. Your workplace will be a dynamic environment where you will closely collaborate with our core HR service team to handle transactional systems and processes. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle review and processing of employee leaves and termination transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

  • Maintain data integrity for all HR systems and databases, adhering to compliance frameworks.

  • Support colleague off-boarding activities, ensuring a smooth transition.

  • Synthesize reports using Microsoft Excel or similar tools.

  • Provide administrative support, including correspondence generation, record keeping, and file maintenance.

  • Comply with data privacy regulations and HR best practices.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to streamline processes and ensure consistency across HR services.

    Requirements

System Experience:

  • Workday

  • ADP

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, SharePoint)

Hard Skills:

  • Experience managing confidential and sensitive data.

  • Strong attention to detail, including document review, redlining, and auditing.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday and ADP.

Soft Skills:

  • Effective time management.

  • Ability to identify risks and optimize processes.

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

  • Goal-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in HR.

  • HRIS system experience (Workday, ADP, SAP, ServiceNow) preferred.

  • Familiarity with LOA and separations processes, including FMLA.
