Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Tampa, Florida. This role is based in the construction industry and requires a highly organized individual who is detail-oriented and adept at accounting functions, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete bookkeeping process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and maintained

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, ensuring all invoices, bills, and payments are processed in a timely manner

• Conduct regular ledger processing and bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up to date and accurate

• Assist in some payroll functions, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time

• Support project administrators with filing and managing purchase orders

• Use accounting software systems, including SAGE and Quickbooks Online, to maintain financial records and generate reports

• Perform cash flow analysis and assist with the creation of the annual budget

• Carry out clerical duties as required, including answering phone calls and maintaining organized records

• Liaise with team members and stakeholders, demonstrating collaborative working skills. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with Computerized Accounting System

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to manage Annual Budget

• Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis
