Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 1 to join our team at Net Park Cafe in Tampa, FL! The current food operation is 1 corporate cafe that is open for Breakfast and Lunch operations.
Sodexo is seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and talented Chef to play an essential role in the management of our culinary program. This candidate will be cooking with the team on a daily basis, and must be familiar with various types of cuisine with excellent multi-tasking abilities.We are seeking candidates with excellent client and customer-facing service skills, and the ability to lead other employees in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be detail-oriented, highly motivated and committed to the highest level of service and leadership.
We are seeking candidates with a prior background in a hig h- volume culinary position, supervisory experience, and corporate services experience.
The successful candidate will:
be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
have exceptional culinary expertise in a wide range of cuisines;
have excellent customer service skills, with experience cooking in front of guests;
ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

This Executive Chef will work primarily a Monday through Friday, 6AM-4PM shift with no holidays or weekends.
Please note the salary range for this position is $50,000-55,000 annually

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
