Description We are in search of a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role focuses on protecting our computer systems and networks, ensuring the safe operation of our digital infrastructure. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing a range of skills including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Design, Eigrp, and Firewall Technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and implement security measures and controls.

• Secure digital files and information systems, protecting them from unauthorized access or tampering.

• Provide technical support and monitor security access.

• Conduct internal and external security audits.

• Manage network, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.

• Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause.

• Coordinate security plans with outside vendors.

• Regularly update and maintain the company's Incident Response Plan.

• Secure networks through firewalls, password protection and other systems.

• Inspect hardware for vulnerable points of access. Requirements • Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

• Experience with Checkpoint

• Familiarity with Cisco ASA

• Skilled in managing Cisco Routers

• Knowledge of Cisco Technologies

• Ability to handle Computer Hardware

• Expertise in Configuration Management

• Ability to contribute in Design processes

• Knowledge of Eigrp

• Experience in Firewall Technologies

• A degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in cyber security

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements
