Citigroup CSIS Sr Program Officer - Tampa- VP in Tampa, Florida
The CSIS Sr Program Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
This role will manage projects and programs related to intelligence, governance, budgets and financing, technology, training, communications, reporting, risk and control management
This job will drive results and accountability across all levels of the global team, while encouraging high standards and emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement
This role will provide assistance to a Program Manager and be responsible for tasks related to the execution of internal global program processes, management and the implementation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting across the functions
Execute the day-to-day operations of the global program and will oversee the design and implementation of systems and processes to ensure the global program processes are executed
Deliver results on projects involving multiple teams and resources across the firm
Work in conjunction with stakeholders and manager to define business/project requirements
Problem-solve and explore/implement solutions to current processes and systems
Establish and maintain high-level relationships with functional, regional and core functions (Security, Cyber and Investigations) partners around the globe
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of experience
Deep subject matter expertise or technical experience in the program supported
Experience in operations areas: Organizational management, project management, operations, technology, and finance
Experience in working with virtual global teams within a matrix organization
Have lead and influenced people across an organization using sound judgment, successful execution of strategies; and with an understanding of how to operate effectively across diverse businesses/resources
Experience managing projects through the complete project lifecycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Closing.
Relevant certifications related to areas supported
Application knowledge of business improvement/Lean Six Sigma methodology, Lean Green belt or Black belt or experience with facilitation of Kaizen events
Previous work experience in a financial services or consulting organization
Education:
- Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

Responsibilities
Partners with multiple stakeholders to define criteria and data requirements to monitor operational performance.
Work collaboratively with the CSIS Business Analytics team to ensure that crisis management data is aligned with the Citi Data Operating Model strategy.
Participates in support activities with cross functional analysis to identify data issues, process gaps, and potential system enhancements, identifying and proposing business solutions.
Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to resolve complex situations related to MIS issues.
Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge, combined with a solid understanding of industry standards and MIS practices.
Applies professional judgment, analytical thinking, and knowledge of data analysis tools/methodologies to conduct complex analysis of MIS trends.
Designs/analyzes complex reports to satisfy management requirements.
Presents findings to management based on analysis conducted.
Work collaboratively with the CSIS Project Management & Technology team to ensure that crisis management technology projects are aligned with project management guidelines in compliance with Citi policies and regulations.
Applies project Management skills to Lead/Facilitate MIS projects for team/area supported.
Ensures resources are assigned to project/ initiatives and monitor commitment.
Identifies, documents, and understands project dependencies Identify key stakeholders who participate in project scope definition.
Qualifications
- Proven knowledge and experience in project management and/ or data governance
Hard skills
Microsoft 365 (Advance)- required
SharePoint: document management, site creation, permissions management, workflow design, content types and metadata, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Online- preferred
Typing skills (30 wpm)- required
Certifications in Project Management: Scrum Master, Agile, Lean Six Sigma methodology (Green belt, or Black belt)-preferred
Microsoft 365 Certified-preferred
Filling system and records management experience
Data Governance certification- preferred
