Citigroup AVP, Finance Risk Reporting Sr Analyst - Basel & RWA (Hybrid) in Tampa, Florida

Due to enhanced regulatory oversight, FRSS (Finance Risk Shared Services) Basel Regulatory team is currently hiring a Business Financial Analyst.

Incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and supporting Reporting team with the reporting of Basel 3 SLE (Supplementary Leverage Exposure) results in the RWA Aggregator and internal Management Reporting data uploads and reviews. Incumbent will be required to quickly build an in-depth and thorough understanding of Basel reporting requirements and utilize knowledge of Citi Basel systems (CitiRisk, RRI, Pearl etc.) and process flows to ascertain and opine on identified issues.

Incumbent responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with Basel SLE Production and Analytics for the FRSS Global RWA Reporting and Analytics Organization

  • Reconciliation of Basel SLE and RWA Management Reporting to other Key Regulatory Reports

  • Coordination of SLE Production and Analytics with Corporate

  • Analyze variances within SLE and Management Reporting

  • Support the automation efforts of SLE and Management Reporting Production & Analytics

  • Ensure a strong control environment for Citi's SLE Reporting and Analytics in support of internal and external audits

  • Produce and review controls, procedures and documentation related to SLE and RWA Management Reporting processes in support of Fed exams and Internal Audits

  • Data Quality monitoring, reviews and analysis of the RWA Aggregator data's completeness and correctness in support of Basel III SLE in support of Citi's earnings release

  • Review of business topsides in the Basel Aggregation Layer impacting Basel III SLE for Regulatory and Management Reporting

  • Effective communication with senior management for deliverables related to anything Basel 3 SLE

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent)

  • 5+ years of finance reporting and/or business analysis experience in a large financial institution

  • Some Project Management experience preferred

  • Experience with financial and regulatory reporting

  • Strong understanding of SLE concepts preferred

  • Previous exposure to Basel III preferred

  • Must have US work authorization, this position is not sponsoring visas

  • Must be local to Tampa or willingness to relocate to Tampa (no relocation assistance provided )

  • Must possess superior analytical background and skill sets to understand management reporting, credit risk modeling and application of data

  • Demonstrated experience in data tracing

  • Must be able to work with large volumes of data from disparate sources

  • Exposure to global processes and teamwork across various locations and cultures desirable

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills

  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills (oral and written) and confidence to work all levels of management

  • Possess strong team building, planning and work skills driven by process improvement

  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions

  • Experience working with a variety of risk or financial platforms, previous experience with Citi systems desirable

  • Willingness to work flexible hours

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Must be a proactive and goal-oriented strategic thinker

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$79,120.00 - $118,680.00
