Citigroup AVP - Data Quality Sr. Analyst - Data Quality (Hybrid) in Tampa, Florida

A key aspect of the IA Data Quality group’s responsibilities is to design and implement a best practice data quality function. Reporting to IA’s Data Quality Senior Lead Analyst, the IA Data Quality Senior Analyst will assist with IA’s Data Concern Remediation Management (DCRM) process and related activities. This role will also support IA’s alignment with implementing Data Quality Rules, and corresponding data models, certifications, and dashboards in relation to the Data Operating Model (DOM) and DQP. This role will also be responsible for supporting IA’s compliance with firmwide data quality policy and standards and ensuring alignment with other data management capabilities. These efforts will improve the quality of data across IA and support Citi's data transformation as a top strategic priority.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison to IA stakeholders in alignment with the end-to-end DCRM Process and related activities including identification of potential Data Concerns, root cause analysis, prioritizing Data Concerns, and developing remediation plans.

  • Seek opportunities to improve data quality firmwide by leading data improvement initiatives, and/or act as a liaison with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions.

  • Monitor key SLAs and the drivers of each to promote a success-oriented environment resulting in risk reduction for the firm.

  • Assist with oversight of the metrics reporting process for key stages of the Data Concern lifecycle.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 4 plus years of relevant experience

  • Specific subject matter expertise regarding Data Quality disciplines.

  • Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills

  • Effective project management skills

  • Effective influencing and relationship management skills with an initiative-taking and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent views.

  • Well-developed listening skills, and a strong ability to engage a group of accomplished leaders across Citigroup who are partners to Internal Audit with respect to its data transformation.

  • Analytical/critical thinking skills, with experience providing timely, high-quality insights to support ongoing activities.

  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite is essential.

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$87,280.00 - $130,920.00
