  • Provide onsite product installation and project management.

  • Supervise and lead additional onsite installation personnel to achieve project completion.

  • Perform instruction, full system testing and provide documentation on installed systems as defined in QIP, and applicable MAP.

  • Train and lead other onsite Stryker technicians.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Will make travel arrangements for self and coordinate travel for other installation personnel. Collaborate with project managers and project personnel on installation kick off meetings

  • Will verify all aspects of infrastructure are in place upon arrival at site. Will work with project management team and make suggestions to any/all contractors and customers regarding project needs.

  • Will be required to comply with integration and FDA documentation procedures and standards.

  • Will coordinate with offsite project managers and engineers conveying needs/issues to ensure appropriate tests, equipment and results are obtained.

  • Will email daily reports to project manager, installation manager and appropriate individuals to maintain open and timely communication updates regarding the installation project.

  • Will work from written and/or verbal instructions.

  • Will communicate scope of work to additional installation personnel.

  • Required to perform initial system checks to identify functionality and communicate deliverables to appropriate channels.

  • Will be required to read, interpret, and execute wire schematics and room elevations. Will train others on operational function of installed systems.

  • Must exercise a professional appearance and acumen while interacting with all customers.

  • Must supervise daily work efforts of other installation personnel and additional sub-contractors specific to achieving project completion while maintaining quality.

  • Outside vendors and contractors: Must supervise work details of outside contractors to ensure quality system requirements are met.

  • Is responsible for staying current on all assigned compliance and job related trainings.

  • Interacts with customers with regard to post market surveillance activities.

  • Other duties as requested by project manager, installation manager, and project engineering team.

  • Has the independence and authority to perform required tasks to ensure all provisions of the quality system are met.

  • Perform preinstall job site checks and report findings to the project team.

  • Proven ability to demonstrate the skills of an associate integrations specialist.

  • Will review and seek out installation obstacles such as infrastructure obstructions, conduit paths, and elevation changes.

  • Provides solutions to areas of opportunity to help improve processes or products.

  • Must be able to travel up to 95% of the time, and arrive to job site as specified by project manager.

  • Ability to work weekends as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Heavy work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

  • Must be able to review printed materials.

  • Must have demonstrated fine motor skills.

  • Must be able to use sophisticated test and office computer equipment (e.g. smartphone, PC, and measurement equipment etc.).

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine testing and/or equipment issues using independent judgment.

  • Must be able to improvise based on environmental/infrastructure needs within the appropriate guidelines.

  • Must be able to follow and explain detailed instruction and inspection procedures.

  • Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately.

  • Must be able to identify issues outside scope of project and discuss with the appropriate individuals.

  • Must be able to work in a fast pace, independent environment and exercise good judgment.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Intermediate PC and appropriate application skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, strippers, crimpers, etc.), power tools, and test equipment.

  • Intermediate math and technical writing skills.

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Must demonstrate strong ethics and character.

  • Established talent for cable management and termination techniques.

  • Must be able to interpret and execute A/V/control system flow schematics and diagrams.

  • 2-3 years related technical experience.

  • 2-3 years experience as an Associate Installation Tech. or equivalent.

  • Possesses knowledge of other vendors equipment and how it interacts with Stryker equipment

  • Experience providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED

  • B.S. or B.A. preferred.

  • Those lacking degree must have minimum 2-3 years integration experience or comparable skill set.
