Citigroup Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst Tampa, Florida
Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Analyze user needs and collaborate on technical solutions and strategies. Deliver solutions including developing user interfaces for risk and enterprise applications by leveraging Micro Frontend Architecture. Perform code and design review and help define operating standards and processes. Leverage Python, Oracle, SQL, Java, Springboot, Apache Kafka to develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Build and maintain CI/CD Pipelines to ensure collaborative development, code quality and seamless delivery of updates to production environments. Use Jenkins and TeamCity for automation of build, test, and deployment processes, enhancing efficiency and ensuring consistency in software delivery. Explore existing application systems and determine areas of complexity and potential risks to the successful implementation. Advise on improvements to software architecture, software development process, and new technologies. Follow engineering standards and ensure they are followed across all modules in the project. Leverage Database management to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation within applications. Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Leverage Autosys to facilitate scheduling and orchestration of batch jobs for streamlined workflows. Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Use Multi-threading to optimize system resources and improve application performance, scalability, and user experience. Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Use Linux Kernel to optimize application behavior on Linux-based systems, contributing to robust and scalable software solutions. Consult with users and clients and other technology groups on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related position involving development and design of software applications. 2 years of experience must include: Python, Oracle; SQL, Java; Springboot, Apache Kafka; CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Autosys; Multi-threading; Linux Kernel, TeamCity; and Database management.
