The Office of Information Technology Services is seeking a detail-orientedIdentity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist with extensive experience in Okta and Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IAM systems, ensuring secure access to applications, and protecting sensitive information.

This position is located at the DCF Headquarters in Tallahassee, within the Office of Information Technology Services.

EXAMPLES OF WORK:

  • Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions with a focus on Okta and Microsoft Identity Manager.

  • Develop and enforce IAM policies and procedures to ensure secure access to systems and data.

  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate IAM solutions with various applications and systems.

  • Monitor and analyze IAM system performance, identify potential issues, and implement necessary improvements.

  • Conduct regular IAM audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Provide support and training to users on IAM processes and tools.

  • Stay current with the latest IAM trends, technologies, and best practices.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:

  • Extensive experience with Okta and Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).

  • Strong understanding of identity and access management principles and best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with various IAM applications such as IBM Tivoli, RSA SecurID, SailPoint, and Oracle Identity Manager.

  • Proficient in integrating IAM solutions with enterprise applications, including but not limited to, Office 365, AWS, and Azure.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Relevant certifications in IAM (e.g., Okta Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate) are a plus.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience with scripting and automation tools.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to IAM (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).

  • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions. Ability to provide excellent customer support.
