Job Title: Material Handler

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate control and location of stock movement.

• Use handheld scanner and desktop computer to record material movements in the ERP system.

• Assist in daily disbursement of raw material to the manufacturing floor.

• Maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and accurate cycle counts.

• Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.

• Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.

• Available to load and unload truck shipments as needed.

• Available to work overtime as needed to support production requirements.

• Manufacturing facility (climate controlled)

• Shift:

• 1st Shift 5am-3:30pm

• Pay: $16

• Location: Tallahassee, FL

This is a Contract-to-Hire position - benefits, 401k, and weekly pay available while on contract

Qualifications:

• Experience using warehouse equipment

• Handheld scanners/RF Scanners

• Computer skills

• Forklift, pallet jacks

• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently

• Experience with warehouse operations loading, unloading, inventory control, cycle counting, order filling, material handling

• Manufacturing/Warehouse experience is preferred
