A residential maintenance technician, or maintenance tech, is responsible for keeping a property in good condition and responding to tenant maintenance issues. This is the perfect oppurtunity if you work with your hands and want somthing different everyday. It is an active job if you prefer to be moving around and not sitting at a desk.

salary: $20 - $29.99 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

A residential maintenance technician, maintains and repairs systems and fixtures in residential buildings.

• Responding to requests: Responding to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance, and fixing unexpected problems

• Performing maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and repairs, such as fixing plumbing, lighting, or heating problems

• Installing fixtures: Installing new fixtures or replacing damaged or malfunctioning systems

• Performing upgrades: Performing scheduled work or upgrades

• Maintaining safety systems: Maintaining fire, carbon monoxide, smoke, and other safety systems

• Performing other tasks: Performing other tasks as assigned, such as landscaping, pool maintenance, pest control, painting, or carpentry

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 25lbs

• standing for 5 hours at one time
