Education and/or Years of Experience:

  • Four years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering, or administrative work.

  • A master's degree from a college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience.

    About Us:

    The Office of Revenue Management is under the Assistant Secretary for Administration located at the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida. This Office is comprised of four units responsible for federal cost allocation and reporting, cash management, and revenue forecasting.

    The Revenue Management Systems Unit is highly diverse in its responsibilities, including managing and maintaining the Grant and other Revenues Allocation Tracking System (GRANTS); producing the Post Award Notices (PAN) with supporting documentation as required in Section 215.97, F.S. (Florida Single Audit Act) and 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Grant Guidance); reporting necessary data in accordance with the Federal Funding Accounting and Transparency Act (FFATA); coordinating Random Moment Sampling (RMS); and preparing the Schedule of Expenditure of Federal Awards (SEFA).

    What you will do:

    This is a professional position performing highly responsible training and project management functions as the Office of Revenue Management Training and Projects Coordinator. The incumbent in this position is accountable for and will be expected to function independently to manage the Office’s training curriculum and project portfolio. This position directly coordinates both short and long-term projects and training initiatives .

    Examples of job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizing Agile methodology values, principles and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions for the Office of Revenue Management

  • Manage the integration of scope, schedule, costs, quality, risks, resources, communication, procurement, and stakeholder engagement in Revenue Management projects

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate training activities for the Office of Revenue Management.

  • Responsible for the analysis, design, development, and delivery of a division-wide talent management curriculum

  • Conducts research, assesses training needs, and consults with management for consideration of division-wide training initiatives.

  • Ensures Department employees complete training through compliance reminders and assisting with training questions.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of methodologies for strategic analysis, design and implementation of information systems

  • Knowledge of instructional design concepts, training delivery, and program evaluation

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Office 365 programs, Visio, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint)

  • Ability to analyze and interpret computer related data

  • Ability to communicate business information effectively both verbally and in writing to stakeholders and information technology staff

  • Knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and other Project Management Institute standards

  • Ability to document workflow, business requirements, and other activities relating to the improvement of management practices and complex financial applications

  • Ability to work independently and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

  • Basic knowledge of contract management and procurement
